An incentive item’s purpose is to introduce change and motivate people to do something – achieve a goal, complete a task, attend a seminar, follow procedures, learn new information, become educated about products and service, and improve performance are a few examples. Incentive items help reinforce a message and serve to stimulate people as you guide them through a process to achieve a result. You can use them to generate quick short-term responses or implement them over time to reinforce repeat performance – as in a workforce safety program, in a competitive sales associate revenue-targeted program, or in a customer loyalty program.
