Consumer Programs for Retail, Real Estate, Financial, Clubs, Sport and Recreation, Health, and Restaurant businesses, services, and institutions
These efforts are externally directed projects and programs designed to motivate response, induce action, and foster identification and allegiance on the part of the consumer. The promotional efforts in these areas can stand alone or complement other advertising media and may represent key expenditures and include programs to:
Introduce new or improved products, services, or facilities, emphasize promotions, solicit product or facility trial usage, increase registration and attendance, build retail traffic, enhance readership, increase financial product and service placement, and reinforce consumer loyalty, and affinity identification.
A full range of promotional, incentive, and awards can be used in Consumer Programs. These might include product, service, and trip prizes and gifts for active inducement in games, contests, sweepstakes and redemption promotions, or simple brand reinforcement gifts to show desire for or appreciation of a customer’s patronage.
